Terms of Service & Legal Notice

By visiting our site and/or purchasing products from Solid Motif, you engage in our "Service" and agree to be bound by the following terms and conditions, including all additional policies referenced herein.

1. Governing Law

These Terms of Service and any separate agreements whereby we provide you Services shall be governed by, interpreted, and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Western Australia (WA), Australia, and the Commonwealth of Australia, without regard to conflict of law principles.

2. Accuracy of Site Information & Trademark Notice

We endeavor to present accurate product descriptions, center-to-center hole drill metrics, metal finishes, and pricing. Independent Hardware Brand Notice: Solid Motif is an independent architectural hardware and interior fixtures retailer. Solid Motif is not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by Buster + Punch, Lo & Co Goods, Hepburn Hardware, Castella, or Tradco Hardware. Any comparative references are made strictly for functional specification, hole spacing standards, and technical clarity. Solid Motif reserves the right to correct any inadvertent inaccuracies at any time without prior notice.

3. Finish Maintenance, Living Brass & Tool Installation Notice

Metal Finish Care Notice: Clean hardware using only a soft microfiber cloth dampened with warm water. NEVER use abrasive scourers, solvent-based tile cleaners, ammonia, bleach, or acidic descaling agents on electroplated, brushed brass, or matte black surfaces, as this will dissolve the protective protective coating. For "Living Brass" untreated variants, the metal will naturally oxidize and darken over time, creating a rich organic patina. Manual Tooling Recommendation: We strongly advise using manual hand screwdrivers rather than high-torque power drills when installing solid brass hardware to avoid cross-threading or snapping screw heads. Solid Motif is not liable for cross-threaded handles, damaged cabinet fascias, or chemical finish deterioration resulting from harsh household cleaning agents.
